Ive become the 2 wheeled version of jake.

Bought a old DRZ 650 pretty much by accident. God dam it. What is it with me and suzuki 650s???!!

The story: this is sitting at a friends (A) shop. Belongs to another friend (B) . A tells me that B bought this after selling his SV. He rode it twice. Couldnt get it to run right. He gave up on it and was going to literally throw it out. I told him.to sign the title over to me and Ill get it done. 20 minutes later I own a drz-650.

I wish all my bikes had them, there is just something primal about using your leg to initiate a series of controlled explosions that propel a two wheeled death machine on top of a wave of noise and smoke... or maybe the smoke bit was just my old BSA.

Heh. It was a bit of an inside joke. Pete’s only owned street bikes up until now. Another Oppo and mutual friend rides dirt. As for me? I only daydream about bikes because I don’t own one myself — of either variety. :( Heh. Someday. *stares wistfully off into the distance*

i can start the 150s and 250s at work no issue. usually 2nd or third kick.

If it has one you better find it, it’ll make starting the bike a hell of a lot easier. It should be a small 3rd lever on the handlebar.
